Therapy and Faith
Faith is a difficult thing to discuss in our current state of affairs. I have been a Christian since I can remember. I was taught to love and respect others no matter their circumstances. I am truly hurt when others tell their story of how religion hurt them or condemned them. I decided to get a certificate of pastoral counseling because, at times, God is part of the family system. I am not a Pastor or Clergy in any way, therefore, I will not pull out the Bible and tell you what you should be doing. Instead, I look at the relational and systemic lessons that the Bible teaches. Learning from the Great Counselor Himself, the words can teach us and show us how our lives can be improved.
