Individual Therapy is when the client comes to therapy alone and is usually treated with the medical model. There is a wide range of situations people find themselves in that require significant and specific programs or in patient care. Mint Family Therapy works with out patient care clients but is happy to refer clients out to other programs when necessary.

Individual therapy doesn’t require systemic training and is normally treated with CBT and DBT. When working with us, we also utilize existential therapy and solution-focused brief therapy. When dealing with trauma, brainspotting is often used which was discovered from EMDR interventions.
